The Briaerean Honor Society recognizes those students who have pursued both academic and professional excellence during their tenure at Georgia Tech. Students who meet the qualifications of the Briaerean Honor Society will be notified by email of their eligibility and initiation information. The qualifications are as follows:
- Sophomore standing or higher
- 3.0 GPA or higher
- Completed one co-op work term or two internships
/// Initiation
The Society conducts initiation once at the beginning of each semester, at which time initiates are asked to provide one-time dues. The information will be provided in the email notification of eligibility.
/// Membership
Membership includes social, service, and professional events that connect our members not only to other high-achieving students, but also our vast alumni network. Members who fulfill the minimum points requirements each active fall or spring semester during which the Member is a full-time student on the Atlanta campus are eligible to receive a cord for graduation. Members may also be eligible for awards through the Georgia Tech Career Center, for which membership and involvement are enhancements to a students candidacy.
